In January, Dan and Dawn spent a week in Colorado visiting her parents and sister, plus some of Dan's friends and family, with a 3-day skiing excursion to Keystone squeezed in.

Annette will be spending

New Years in Andover

Oscar is a junior at American University in Washington DC, where he is studying Political Science and History and is a member of their top-ranked Model UN team. He has a passion for labor law and will likely head in that direction.

He is working for a progressive political campaign back in Mass. and will pick up that work full time when the schoolyear ends.

Paige had a big year, graduating from Assumption University, magna cum laude, and earning her teaching degree. She then played an extra year of field hockey this fall as a grad student while she completes her Masters, wrapping up her career as Assumption's all-time leader in wins for a goalie.

She recently started her full-time career, taking over a 1st grade class back here in Andover. Above left, listen to her talk about balancing athletics and academics/career on a podcast.

Scarlett is an Engineer working for BR+A in Boston and living the life in Southie with a great group of friends. This year she travelled to Ireland and drove across the country to Denver. And she became the first of our children to pass the boating safety course, thus allowing her to drive the boat!

Scarlett pulled off a great prank when she bought herself this sweatshirt,

wrapped it up and put it under the tree "from Mom & Dad".

Podcast Interview

Cedric is in his 2nd year as the head coach of the men's basketball team at Maine Maritime Academy, an NCAA Division 3 program in Castine, Maine. Last year the team had its winningest year in over 20 years. His assistant coach is his old high school football coach EJ Perry, who retired from teaching in Andover and is the father of Cedric's good friend EJ IV.

Caroline will be spending Christmas

with our family this year.

The team played an away game close to home

and we got a big crowd out to support the Mariners.

Dawn joined Grasshopper Bank in February as Head of Digital Lending.  Yes – quirky name – its an homage to Grace Hopper, a US Navy Admiral who wrote COBOL (the original ‘green screen’ programming language)  - pretty cool for a digital only bank.  Dawn is building Grasshopper’s digital lending businesses and truly loving her work advising and supporting early stage fintech companies.    Of course, this is when she wasn’t reading a book in the hammock in Maine, enjoying a campfire, floating in the water, paddleboarding or waterskiing.   Also she started lifting weights this year  - ask her & she’ll show you her “muscles”.

Dan took a job as a GED Instructor for an organization that assists at-risk youth in neighboring Lawrence, MA. If he's not working or at the Lake and the sun is out you can find him golfing at nearby Andover Country Club, where he usually finishes 18 holes in 2-3 hours.
